| Company Description: | 1 – Experience with testing, operating, and maintaining a network access control appliance (NAC), ImpulsePoint SafeConnect, in an academic IT environment that includes personal mobile devices and a heterogeneous mix of workstations, 2 – Cybersecurity and Incident Response work experience in an academic IT environment including deployment of the following open source technology: Intrusion Detection, 3 – Cybersecurity and Incident Response work experience in an academic IT environment including deployment of the following open source technology: high availability web proxies, 4 – Cybersecurity and Incident Response work experience in an academic IT environment including deployment of the following open source technology: network and application service monitoring, 5 – Experience with conducting forensic malware analysis in an academic IT environment. |
| Job Description: | Educational and Certification Requirements: (Must meet at least three out of four) 1 – Awarded an advanced technical degree (Master of Science or PhD) from an accredited college or university, 2 – Certified as a CompTIA Security+ professional or other acceptable cybersecurity workforce certifications as noted in DoD 5270, 3 – Certified to operate and maintain SafeConnect NAC technologies, e.g., “SafeConnect Certified – Dashboard” and “SafeConnect Certified – Policy Management”, 4 – Certified in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or 2008. |
| Candidate Reqirements: | SECURITY LEVEL: The contractor’s employees shall have a current US DoD SECRET clearance. Per DoD Directive 8570.1, all contractor personnel are considered Cybersecurity Workforce and must be certified at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II. |
